Ann has been painting since high school. Josefa Filkovsky her teacher at Seton Hill was a mentor for many years. Ann benefited from what Josefa learned while she worked toward her Doctorate at Carnegie Mellon. Since graduation Ann has been a workshop learner. Her favorites include Herb Olds, Frank Webb, Kathleen Zimbicki, Skip Lawrence, Linda Fruwald, and Linda Doll. Each of these teachers has contributed to her view of the world and she considers each one of them important to her artistic growth. |
